Hades J. Pluto

The funny thing is, there is a Disney version of Pluto (as in, the god), predating their version of Hades; he appeared in the 1934 short "The Goddess of Spring". Not long after, there was a comic where Mickey met a genie, and to verify his power, Mickey asked him to show him Pluto. Cue the genie summoning the god instead of the dog.

Hey, dog/god, I just noticed. I wonder if they did that on purpose when they named Mickey's dog Pluto.
